Junior Auxiliary of Tangipahoa (JAT) is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide charitable services to the community with emphasis on children. For nearly 50 years, JAT members have devoted time and energy to passionately advocating for the community of Tangipahoa Parish:
Hammond, Ponchatoula, Amite City, Independence, Kentwood, Roseland and more.
JAT is part of a national organization, NAJA, that was founded on the principles of helping children and making a difference in their lives. JAT conducts service projects geared toward promoting the health, welfare and education of children preschool age to college.

SCHOLARSHIPSThe National Association of Junior Auxiliaries annually awards scholarships to persons pursuing graduate level studies in fields which address the special needs of youth.
