Book JAm & Back to School Bash

​Each year Junior Auxiliary volunteers at various community events to provides free books, among other items, to children. Reading helps children's imaginations and creative natures grow and develop.  

JA promotes literacy at the Hammond Eastside Elementary Fall Festival, the chapter's annual Hunt for Health event, and at the city's annual Back to School Bash. Here, each child receives a free book, a bookmark, and a pencil with a fun eraser!
