The ladies of JAT host a variety of activities and social events for children in residential homes, residents in senior living facilities, vocational programs and community home residents for individuals with disabilities. We also provide meals/gifts and any service to individuals and their families going through a medical crisis. |
The ladies of Junior Auxiliary compile donations and source for closet of donated hygiene and feminine products, undergarments, and accessories, school supplies, books and uniforms. The committee provides these items to local schools and organizations throughout the community. |
As the Child Welfare Project for the Chapter, JAT guides families in need who currently reside at Lynhaven Retreat Center. More specifically, JAT members provide and facilitate on-site life skills training for both mother and child. Additionally, there is an ongoing relationship established through providing educational and recreational activities with the children throughout the year. |
A sensory friendly Christmas event for all families where children listen to a Christmas story while they enjoy sweet treats, holiday crafts and receive a gift from Santa Claus. |
